The Department of Human Services and the State of Pennsylvania offer many waiver services that may benefit your situation. One of these services is called Act150 Services.

You may be able to receive services in the comfort of your home if you have a physical disability. You must:

  • Be a Pennsylvania Resident

  • Be between 18 and 59 years of age.

  • Be determined financially eligible through the Medicaid program.

  • Be able to make decisions that are involved in the hiring, firing, and supervising a caregiver.

  • Have a physical disability that is expected to last at least 12 continuous months.

In the Act150 Program, you may have to pay a small co-payment based on your income. This will be determined when you go through the financial eligibility process.
